STS TIGER TALES
*Reminders for this Upcoming Week
-Monday…Hot Lunch (K-8th) Chicken Strips
-Tuesday…Bring in Decorated Pumpkins
-Wednesday…Bring in Decorated Pumpkins by 3:00 p.m.
-Thursday…Girls Home Basketball/Trost Gym at 6:00 p.m.
-Friday…wear a Halloween or Fall Shirt instead of Mass Day Attire for a donation for the Hurricane Relief Fund. See attached flyer. (Students get to wear their Halloween and Fall Shirts (4-8th Gr) again on Monday, October 31st for fun & Halloween Costumes (PK-3rd)!)
*Remember the uncarved pumpkin decorating categories are: Sports, Animals, Religious, Books/Movie Character, and S.T.E.M./S.T.E.A.M. Bring in your pumpkins on October 25th & 26th before 3 p.m. each day.
*Before Tuesday, October 25th…Show your STS Spirit by purchasing a blank calendar square for only $25 on the 2023 School Raffle Calendar. The new calendar will be going to print soon. Order your family’s square today by emailing Tracy Cain at tcain@stthomasphilo.org indicating which STS logo you would like to purchase. She will put your logo of choice along with your family name on an empty calendar square for only $25. Join in on the fun!

**Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to St. Thomas School in November. This is a great time to Christmas shop for your family. Watch for dates and shopping times in Tiger Tales.
**PTO would like to provide childcare for our upcoming meetings. If you are interested in babysitting during our next meeting, please contact Ray Zumbahlen at rayzumbahlen@gmail.com letting him know which dates you would be available to help. This is a great opportunity to volunteer!
WHERE: The Aftercare Room
WHEN: Wednesday, November 16th
TIME: Meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and last approximately 1.5 hours. Babysitters will need to arrive at 5:45 p.m.
DETAILS: All children will be potty trained. Parents will be in the John Schumacher Gym and available if needed. Toys/Games/Activities will be available.

**On Friday mornings when school is in session, there will be an All-School (K-8th) Children’s Mass at 8:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Church. Students should wear their Mass Day Attire to school on Mass days. The public is welcome to attend our school Masses this year.
**PTO is in the process of compiling a list/database of subject matter experts willing to assist our teachers in the classroom with various topics. Teachers will be able to search and utilize these contacts to assist with curriculum planning and engage with family and community members as well. **St. Thomas School collects used printer cartridges all year to recycle for coupons to use towards the purchase of office/teacher supplies. If you or your company have any to recycle, please leave them in the school office. Thank you for your support.
