STS TIGER TALES

 

*Reminders for this Upcoming Week

   -Friday & Monday…No School (PK-8th)…October 7th & 10th

   -Cross Country Sectional on Saturday, October 8th at 10 a.m. at STM

   -Family Fall Night will take place on Sunday, October 9th starting at 4:30 p.m.

   -Hot Lunch on Tuesday (K-8th) Monical’s Pizza

   -Girls Basketball Game on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m./Trost Gym

   -Friday…Wear Mass Day Attire for Children’s Mass at 8:30 a.m.

   -Last Day to Wear Shorts for this season (Friday, October 14th)

   -Cross Country State on Saturday, October 15th

 

*Looking ahead, there will be a Dress Like A Farmer Day on Monday, October 17th.  Start planning now!

*Just a reminder that Picture Day is Tuesday, October 18th!

 

*Remember the pumpkin decorating categories are:  Sports, Animals, Religious, Books/Movies, and Stem.

   

*Calendar/Raffle Tickets….our winner for Monday, October 3rd was Matt Moore.  He won $50.  It was sold by the Dees Family.  Congratulations!

**Athletics

   -Please find in your email ways to help with the Athletic Hot Dog Luncheons through the Sign-UpGenius (K-8th).

**On Friday mornings when school is in session, there will be an All-School (K-8th) Children’s Mass at 8:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Church.  Students should wear their Mass Day Attire to school on Mass days.  The public is welcome to attend our school Masses this year. 

 

**PTO is in the process of compiling a list/database of subject matter experts willing to assist our teachers in the classroom with various topics. Teachers will be able to search and utilize these contacts to assist with curriculum planning and engage with family and community members as well. If you would be willing to share your talents as a guest speaker or subject matter expert, we invite you to complete the form via this link  https://forms.gle/tnEo97LxTYVHpucp7 . *PTO would like to provide childcare for our upcoming meetings.  If you are interested in babysitting during our next meeting, please contact Ray Zumbahlen at rayzumbahlen@gmail.com letting him know which dates you would be available to help.  This is a great opportunity to volunteer!

 

WHERE:  The Aftercare Room

WHEN:  Wednesday, October 19th

TIME:  Meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and last approximately 1.5 hours.  Babysitters will need to arrive at 5:45 p.m.

DETAILS:  All children will be potty trained.  Parents will be in the John Schumacher Gym and available if needed.  Toys/Games/Activities will be available.
