*Welcome to St. Thomas School. First day of school (PK-8th) will be tomorrow. We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow morning. Parents are welcome to stay for morning announcements in the Robert H. Trost Gym tomorrow morning starting at 8:15 a.m.
*Boohoo/Yahoo Breakfast for Parents…STS parents are welcome to stop by the John Schumacher Gym after dropping off their student(s) on Thursday morning (8/18). PTO will have coffee/donuts available for parents to kick off the new school year. See attached flyer for times and details.
*St. Thomas School’s PTO is looking for junior high students, high school students, young adults, and/or grandparents to help volunteer with childcare during their monthly PTO meetings at St. Thomas School. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Ray Zumbahlen at rayzumbahlen@gmail.com at your earliest convenience.
*PTO is in the process of compiling a list/database of subject matter experts willing to assist our teachers in the classroom with various topics. Teachers will be able to search and utilize these contacts to assist with curriculum planning and engage with family and community members as well. *St. Thomas School collects used printer cartridges all year to recycle for coupons to use towards the purchase of office/teacher supplies. If you or your company have any to recycle, please leave them in the school office. Thank you for your support.
*Calendar/Raffle Tickets….our winner for Friday, August 5th was Jared & Mandy Crowe. They won $100. It was sold by the Crowe family. Congratulations!
