The school year at St. Thomas is filled with a number of exciting activities and events.  Occasionally, classroom or school needs might require a change or give new direction to a “traditional” event.  Many times, events need parental/guardian assistance and participation to ensure that St. Thomas Catholic School and the students benefit from these wide varieties of experiences.

Parent Nights 

Preschool Parent Night   August 2024-TBD 
A Preschool Parent Information Night is usually held at the school.  Parents will have a chance to meet the preschool teachers, pastor, and principal, visit their child's classroom, hear an overview of plans for the school year, learn more about classroom and school policies, and ask any questions they may have.  Parents may bring their children's school supplies on this night. 

K-8th Grade Parent Night     August 2024 - TBD
K-8 Parent Information Night will be held at the school.  On this night parents and students can meet the teachers, staff, pastor, and principal and learn about the plans for the school year.  This night may also include an opportunity for students interested in the band program to try out musical instruments and meet the band teacher.  Parents and students may "shop" for free donated uniform items.  Information on our PTO, Aftercare program, Unit 7 bussing arrangements, and more will be available.  Parents of students participating in Speech may also have a brief meeting on this night. Students may bring their school supplies on this night. 

BooHoo/Yahoo Breakfast

August 2024-TBD     We had an awesome BooHoo/Yahoo Breakfast this year thanks to our PTO.

Ice Cream Social

Sunday, August 2024 - TBD   Come enjoy some amazing ice cream. There will also be pulled pork sandwiches, chips, potato salad, and desert table.

Fall Family Fest

​This PTO-sponsored event is a time for all school families to come together for an evening of fun, music, food, and fellowship.  

Christmas Program

Students will participate in Advent and Christmas activities in the weeks leading up to Christmas Break.  An evening Christmas program will be held.

Trivia Night

March 2, 2024     Doors open at 5:00 PM with Trivia starting at 6:00 PM
Test your knowledge of Trivia and enjoy an evening out with friends. There will also be 50/50 raffle, punchboard, a silent and live auctions, and a wine pull. You must be 21 to participate.

Grandparents Day

April 19, 2024     8:15 AM
Grandparents are invited to spend the morning with the St. Thomas Student. The morning will start off with Grandparents enjoying coffee in the Schumacher Gym or attending morning announcements in the Trost Gym. Then they may attend School Mass with their Grandchild(ren). After Mass they will go to their Grandchild(ren) classroom for a visit.

Junior High Play
