Congratulations to Sister Brooke Marie!
Sister Brooke Marie Happ recently made her profession of first vows in Miami, Florida, where she joined the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary. The Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary are a diocesan religious institute founded in 1990 by Mother Adela Galindo in the Archdiocese of Miami, Florida.
Sister Brooke Marie is a lifelong parishioner of St. Thomas Parish, a 2006 graduate of St. Thomas Elementary School in Philo, as well as a 2010 graduate of The High School of St. Thomas More in Champaign. She went on to earn her degree in Special Education at Illinois State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Theology. Sister Brooke Marie is the daughter of David and Lisa Happ and the granddaughter of Don and Dorothy Happ.
Sister Brooke Marie’s first assignment will be ministering to college students at the St. John’s Catholic Newman Center at the University of Illinois.
