K-1 News

February 15, 2019

Dear K-1 Parents,

Thank you for sending in valentine treats for our classroom parties. We enjoyed celebrating with our little sweethearts. A special thank you to those volunteers who helped us out during the party.

February is flying by! We have enjoyed our social studies units focusing on Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. Next week we will be discussing dental hygiene. We look forward to a visit later this month from a dental hygienist.

Students will soon be working on memorizing their phone number and home address here at school. We would appreciate you working on this with your child as well. Please complete the attached information and return it to school ASAP.

There has been a school calendar change for Friday, March 8th. School will be dismissing at 11:45 am. Aftercare will be offered that day. This training is required by the diocese and was not originally part of our plans when we put our school calendar together.

Have a wonderful three day weekend,

Mrs. Dodd and Mrs. Elliott
